Returns must be sent to us within 30 days of the day your merchandise is delivered to you. You are not required to obtain an RMA number before returning your item.
We will not accept returns of - nor provide refunds for - ripped items, for any reason.
Once we receive your eligible return, we will refund the cost of the item, less the cost of shipping and any amount we paid to re-ship the item to you under our shipping policy, to the original method of payment if paid by payment card. If you paid us by any means other than payment card, you will be given store credit.
We're happy to exchange your items too! If you're not happy with the size or just think something else would have been been better, just email us at email@example.com. We will refund any difference in cost as above, or invoice you if the cost of the new item is greater.
Refunds and exchanges will not ship until we receive your old item and check its eligibility.
What Can Be Returned
Returned items have to be unworn (you can try them on of course), clean, and in their original packaging with tags attached. No stains, fur, dirt, or signs you've taken it to a show.
We do not accept returns on swimwear, intimates, socks, or underwear.
We include a return label for you in case you need to return or exchange anything. Just pack your item carefully, stick the return label on, and take it to any post office. We'll take care of the shipping.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer postage-paid international returns, but we will accept returns as long as they are postmarked by 30 days after the item is delivered to you. You are responsible for the shipping, and for claiming refunds on customs charges if possible in your country. If your order was over $800 in value, please note "Returned Item - Article retourné" on the customs form; if we are charged duty or tax and notice that you did not do this, we will deduct those charges from your refund.
Defective Products and Warranty
For products not manufactured by us, we will assist you in claiming the manufacturer's warranty if applicable. Most clothing manufacturers, including Tripp NYC and Punkrave, do not provide a warranty to us or to you.
For products that are manufactured by us, we will replace them during the return period if the damage is not due to abuse. Examples of abuse include long tears in continuous fabric that begin between seams or at one end of a seam, and button or feature backing that has pulled through fabric.
We will replace products that you receive damaged, if you return them in otherwise completely unworn condition. If they have been worn, washed, or caught on something the first time they're worn, we are unable to offer replacements or refunds. Examples of damage which we will replace are if you receive the product with a metal feature bent during shipping, unravelled embroidery, or clothing with a missing or parted seam.
Alternative clothing has a large variety of stress points and straps to catch, and requires a higher level of care than workwear-style denim. If you are wondering how to take care of these clothes, ask us! We wear them daily and are happy to share our experience, from washing instructions to how to not get your straps caught on things, and even repair advice.
